I am Junkai Lu (Chinese: 卢俊凯), a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, UC Berkeley working with Prof. Masayoshi Tomizuka. I received my B.S. (Research Advisor: Yu Yao) in Automation from HIT (China), and M.S. (Research Advisor: Professor Masayoshi Tomizuka)  in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley.

My research interests include design, modeling, control, and system integration of mechatronic systems with emphasis on wearable robotics.  I am also interested in neural decoder design for brain-machine interfaces (BMI).
